Opened in September 2016 - just 30 minutes from the city and set amongst picturesque panoramas south of Auckland, is New Zealand’s newest Marquee golf course, Windross Farm. The host venue for the first ever LPGA event in New Zealand and a facility that promises a truly unique golfing experience. The course traverses 60 hectares of pristine farmland with 360-degree views of spectacular tree lined hills and lush green countryside. Windross Farm has been developed as a unique inland links-style course that offers a mixture of flat and undulating ground, man-made lakes and strategically placed dramatic bunkers to offer the best of golf and the natural environment. Both the clubhouse and facilities has been designed with a minimalistic and understated philosophy and they truly compliment the unique golf course, to complete the overall picture.

Fescue grass covers all fairways, tees, green surrounds and rough, with bentgrass on all putting surfaces. This provides a well-manicured and excellent playing surface across all closely mown areas but has given the course a magnificent contrast in aesthetics and texture whilst creating some spectacular views. Drainage throughout the entire course is excellent and this along with a very easy walking layout, allows the course to be playable year around.

The Club has received fulsome praise from some of New Zealand’s golfing greats and officials and has already positioned itself amongst the top golf clubs in New Zealand. It is accessible to all categories of golfers with the aim to provide an unforgettable golfing experience with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for both members and guests. With an onsite Café and full driving range available, it offers something for everyone and is a “must do” during your time in Auckland!
